I'm always on the search for true authentic korean food in Singapore.
(YUMMY ONES OF COURSE!)
It was a random thing and we wanted some good korean bbq for dinner 'cos the outlook of the restaurant seems to say that korean BBQ is their specialty.
Honestly, I was clueless to the reviews out there when I stepped in, so no biasness there!
We had a hard time thinking about what to order, there weren't many pictures for your viewing pleasure, especially if you're unfamiliar to the korean food culture.
At least the people were kind enough to explain though.

Pleasantly surprised by the charcoal bbq! Pretty unusual for restaurants here, this is soooo authentic! :)
My personal advice to foodies out there who wants to try the korean BBQ:
I'd always choose pork for my bbq as they are thinly sliced, they would be more evenly cooked when bbq-ing. Chicken meat tend to get charred before the insides are cooked(due to uneven sizing) and tends to have less fat!

The pork belly didn't come as thinly sliced as I wanted them to!
Ended up we had tough pork belly meat when they were cooked!
PLUS POINT: The waiters/waitresses help to look after your bbq meat and you can ask for scissors to cut up the meat into smaller pieces. Talk about good service here! :)

Pork collar meat!
They NEVER go wrong in any BBQ! A must order! They are pricer than normal pork meat as they are really tender.

Kimchi pancake.
I'd go for Kim's family restaurant's version anytime. They had too much kimchi in this. I love my carbs. It felt really like something was lacking when I ate this.

Ddubboki. Spicy Rice Cake.
This didn't wow me either. I couldn't grasp what was wrong in this.. but I guess the sauce wasn't as flavorsome as I would want it to be.

Japchae! Sweet potato noodles.
ALWAYS ALWAYS wanted to try this! It was really the best thing I had here (apart from the pork collar meat). I suspected LOTS AND LOTS of sesame oil made this dish so good. The taste was pretty much similar to our Chinese version of fried vermicelli.
In all, this is a place in Holland Villange which I won't be revisiting anytime soon.
